So I used to able to join my friends in a steam group server but a couple months ago it always shows up as "Not in joinable game" which is really starting to irritate me. It always says that my friends are "Not in joinable game" but I can join their steam group server (by guessing) through the browser easily. Archived post.

Anyone who can view your profile or your friend's profile can join the game. When you create a server, you should be granted the access to kick people out of your server. Maybe if you (like everyone else who plays this game) weren't so paranoid about playing with people you aren't friends with, this wouldn't be an issue.
